This year’s Entrepreneurship Summit took place in Vienna with the motto “Innovation and Transformation” – an inspiring platform that focused on the question of how sustainable and future-oriented changes in business and education can be designed. Roberta Sterbling and Brigitte Lindenhofer took part at the invitation of Johannes Lindner to share ideas and visions and benefit from exciting impulses.

A kick-off full of visions

Dr. Wolfgang Gehrer from Munich University of Applied Sciences started the event with a passionate presentation on the transformative power of social business ideas. He emphasized how important it is not only to found social enterprises, but also to scale them successfully.

“Networking,” said Gehrer, “is the key to creating sustainable change.”

Social innovation meets entrepreneurial spirit

This guiding principle is perfectly reflected in the work of nyendo.lernen. The social aspect is at the forefront of our work, without losing sight of economic success. Student companies that operate with creative and cooperative approaches become real drivers of change.

The education network presented its concepts in the workshop “Implementing ideas cooperatively” and met with great interest from the audience. Particularly impressive was Dominik Böck’s contribution, who gave insights into the practical implementation of ideas in the context of student cooperatives. He showed how young people can shoulder not only economic but also social responsibility.

Our business? The well-being of society.

“The business of business is society” – for nyendo.lernen and the student companies we support, aligning business and the common good is a daily task.

The vision is clear: economic activity should not only generate profit, but also always make a positive contribution to society.
