Elias from Rosenheim about the business coaching of his student company on October 8, 2024
Our student company Upendo Tamu recently had the opportunity to participate in a business coaching session. The coaching took place at the Waldorf School Rosenheim and the students of the student company of the Waldorf School Prien were invited. The coaching was led by the experienced coach Sebastian Portenlänger, who took us step by step through various aspects of business management. The focus was on topics such as business plans, marketing strategies, financial management and teamwork.
Actively participating instead of just listening is more fun
During the sessions, we had the opportunity to present our own business ideas and set ourselves a goal for the year. We thought about how much money we could raise through which projects in order to achieve our annual goal. Mr. Portenlänger gave us helpful tips and contributed his ideas. The exchange with the coach was particularly valuable, as he showed us how to clearly define our goals and plan realistic steps to achieve them.
New knowledge leads to even more motivation
The coaching not only deepened our understanding of business, but also motivated us to move our student company forward. Overall, it was a very enriching experience that gave us important insights into running a company. We are looking forward to another meeting with Mr. Portenlänger.
