The Waldorf School Rosenheim holds a summer festival every year. For our student company Upendo Tamu, this was once again a great opportunity to take part with stands and activities.

For our visitors, there was coffee from our coffee bar and waffles from the waffle stand once again. Our sweet popcorn, Kenyan jewelry, and accessories were also a hit.

All of this involves a certain amount of organizational effort. And it paid off: everyone pitched in with motivation, stepped in for others at short notice, and took on responsibility. This created a wonderful sense of togetherness, which helped us make up for a few smaller planning mistakes.

Due to the short planning time and a volleyball tournament taking place at the same time, we unfortunately weren’t able to organize a charity run this year. A shame.

Even so, we raised 800 euros, which we can be very happy with. We’re already looking forward to the next event!

Best wishes from Upendo Tamu in Rosenheim!
