In the heart of Kangemi, Nairobi, lies the Bethel Community Development Centre School.<\/strong><\/p>\n The learning conditions remain extremely modest: makeshift classrooms, only two toilets for everyone, and teachers who often work for months without pay. And yet, Bethel is a true place of hope \u2013 sustained by the devotion of its teachers and the children\u2019s joy of learning.<\/p>\n With the support of nyendo<\/strong>, an additional classroom has already been built and vital school materials provided. Still, the school urgently needs furniture and further assistance.<\/p>\n \u201cWithout our school, many of these children would be on the streets,\u201d<\/em> says Immaculate. Founded in 2007 with only 20 children, the school now welcomes around 80 students. It is led by Immaculate Lumasayi Chimwani<\/strong>, whose tireless dedication gives children from vulnerable backgrounds and orphans the chance to access education.<\/p>\n\n
