On December 7, six head teachers from our Nyendo partner schools joined us at the Oseki Retreat. In addition to a review, we ate, sang and played together with our guests from Germany and England.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreetings. Yes, the party has given me many positive and overwhelming experiences because I didn’t have such an opportunity as a child despite being born in a good home and unfortunately losing both dear parents at the young age of 5, with my elder brother taking over my responsibilities at the age of 10.<\/p>\n

We knew no one else in our extended family and this meant that we ended up as street children until God intervened on our behalf and we were taken to a children’s home for rescue. The experiences we had there were not so good considering how other children live with their families.<\/p>\n

This inspired us to start a children’s home and a program to help children from similar backgrounds. So far, we have 67 orphans.<\/p>\n

Nyendo has been so kind to us in the short time we have known each other and now I feel like we have found our family.<\/p>\n
