NairoBits is a non-profit organization active in Nairobi since 1999 that teaches ambitious young people from underprivileged backgrounds IT, promotes their entrepreneurial and creative skills and strengthens their life skills. With the help of a grant of \u20ac 10,000 from the W.P. Schmitz Foundation and were in a position to start equipping the room. In October 2021, NairoBits launched the first course after conducting an application and selection process with young people aged between 17 and 24. By December 2022, 47 young people had already completed an IT course, giving them a chance for the rest of their lives.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the \u20ac10,000 from the W.P.
